Poetry from the Greek 'poiesis'/ποίησις is a making,forming, creating, or the art of poetry, or a poem) is a form of literary art in which language is used for its aesthetic and evocative qualities in addition to, or in lieu of, its apparent meaning. Poetry may be written independently, as discrete poems or, may occur in conjunction with other arts, as in poetic drama, hymns, lyrics, or prose poetry. It is published in dedicated magazines the longest established being Poetry and Oxford Poetry, individual collections and wider anthologies.

The state should not be funding churches to begin with for this very reason… especially when the church molests children then assumes moral authority on actual loving relationships.

@simsquest10 I am close to the spirit world and last year was horrible with bad tornado’s going places they don’t normally go and hurricane riding up the east coast, or how about the tremor that starting in colorado and then shifted a plate in the DC area, god is mad the spirits are mad, I keep on having nightmares of vicious tornado’s, I think there is a great evil and people need to wake up and realize that being gay is NOT RIGHT, I want to live in peace not for a group of practicing satanists

If you don’t want a gay marriage or an abortion, don’t have one. If you don’t want to support the health and welfare of others by allowing contraception to be made available, that’s the right of a private institution. Do not perform service based on those tenets AND expect federal funding.

If your religious views keep you from performing a public service job, then you should not choose that job. If you choose to take a job where you intend to serve the public, you will not be allowed to discriminate based on those views. It’s just that simple.

@INFMAR1 same was said of blacks and whites marrying but really you need to get over it cause it will happen and most do not realize, that in the prop 8 case , the people against marriage took it on and it has already lost on the federal level, the case brought by a republican which is so rock solid that it will not be over turned. and do you know what that means? once it gets through court marriage will be legal for all in all 50 states. it is unconstitutional and not special rights sorry

What I find absolutely hilarious about this gay marriage debate is that NO ONE can give a rational answer as to why a dude marrying a dude is so damaging. I mean, can someone explain to me how me marrying my partner destroys Mitt Romney’s life? I’m not getting married in his house, am I? I’m not fucking on his bed, am I? All I’m doing is marrying the man I love and getting the rights I deserve as a human being.

All you’re proving is that the advocates against same-sex marriage have a superiority complex, arguing, ineffectively as I have pointed out, that people/concepts they do not understand are lesser beings.
Honestly, Canada has legalized same-sex marriage, and it has yet to deteriorate.
