@inarainyplace Everyone reads teleprompters. Even so, when you’re in a position of power, if you can’t speak eloquently enough – as you’ve pointed out he has some trouble doing – it’s best to have a prompt. Public speakers who have what they’re supposed to say written for them aren’t exactly devils and demons, nor do they simply read it without knowing it’s content. He would have seen this many times before, I’m sure, and made corrections or whatever as he sees fit, or as he agrees with.

I must admit, i was a skeptic about Obama. As far as power goes, I don’t think he’s particularly helpful, but he’s very diplomatic and well-educated, and actually has a genuine interest in the people rather than just the functionality of the system.

@TheUnholyLazaro Take another good look. He’s reading off a teleprompter. See those grey boxes on either side of him? They are teleprompters. He didn’t write the speech, one of his writers did and he just reads it. If he doesn’t have a teleprompter in front of his he can’t speak a coherent sentence without umm, umm, in between words. His speech was all showmanship for that particular crowd. Don’t be a fool.
